'Colours’ Big Boss Tritiya breaks all records of the channel, clearly reinstating the fact that Big B is still the Emperor of Entertainment!
Big Boss Season 3 opens up in a big way, much to the glee of COLORS channel! But one thing is undeniable, that much of the show's success has to be attributed to Amitabh Bachchan.
According to our source, "Everyone was eager for Big B to return to small screen. It's just that when Big B was done with KBC, he left people wanting for more. And when it was announced that he will, with Bigg Boss 3, people ardently awaited his return. What added to this excitement was the fact that the contestants' names remained unknown. So the curiosity regarding who will be under the reign of Bigg Boss and Big B, was just plain tremendous."
The source says that the AMAP rating registered for the opening episode of Bigg Boss 3 which aired on October 4th at 9 PM slot has broken many existing records of the channel, and gives the indication that the TRPs of the opening week (which will be got next week) too will be record- breaking.
Says the source, "If at all the AMAP ratings give a tip-off about something, then Bigg Boss Tritiya opened with an average of 3.0 TVR for the 2.5 hours of content shown. This is relatively huge when compared to the earlier two seasons which opened with an average of 1-1.4 and 2-1.5 respectively. Bigg Boss Tritiya's opening episode also outperformed Khatron Ke Khiladi's records of last two seasons. While Fear Factor One opened with 1-1.6 TVR, the second season saw a huge response with 2-2.9 TVR".
Guess that's the power of brand 'Big B'! With the AMAP ratings giving us a clear hint to what's coming, we await the week's TVR which will come out next week...
